What kind of activities are in KidzArena?

KidzArena is called our “magazine” section, where members can access over 30 exciting new activities, articles and resources each month in a variety of areas of interest to kids.  We actually have 16 categories to choose from!

What type of content will go into the KidzGallery?

In KidzGallery, children can share their artwork, art photos, educational projects, school projects and KidzClix activities with the world.  All submissions must be original and are accepted only from KidzClix.net members. By submitting your creation to us, you are giving KidzClix.net permission to exhibit it in our KidzGallery if it is chosen for publication on our site. Approximately four times a year, our KidzContests section will have creative challenges to stimulate the mind and provide hours of fun and learning.  Winners of each contest will be awarded cool prizes, and have their work showcased in the KidzGallery. Remember, only members can submit artwork and projects and receive prizes.

Entries must be submitted electronically in .jpg, .gif, or .png format.

Entries can be submitted from our KidzGallery area if you are logged in.  If it makes it easier for you, you can send your entry that must be attached via email to [email protected]. Image files will be converted if necessary.

All entries received become the property of KidzClix, Inc.  We will not accept any copyrighted images.

Introduction

Each Kidz Contests activity will offer creative challenges to stimulate the mind and provide hours of fun and learning.  Winners of each contest will be awarded cool prizes, and have their work showcased in our KidzGallery for all the world to see. As with all submissions in our KidzGallery, entries submitted for our Kidz Contests must be original.  And remember, only members of KidzClix.net can enter our contests and receive prizes. When you submit an entry to us, you are giving us the right to exhibit it in our KidzGallery if it is chosen as a winner. Eligibility

Each contest is open only to legal residents of the USA (including the District of Columbia and excluding Arizona, Vermont, Colorado, and North Dakota) and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are ages 5 through 15 and members of KidzClix.net at the time of the entry. Children whose parents work for KidzClix, Inc. are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

Contest entries must be received by KidzClix, Inc. before 12:01am, Central Standard Time, on or before the last day of the second month of the contest.  Late entries will not be considered.  Entries must be submitted through the KidzClix.net website either in (a) the KidzGallery section or (b) the Kidz Contest activity in the KidzArena section.

Entries must include the following:

• KidzClix Member Name
• Your First Name
• Your Last Name
• Parent's First Name
• Parent's Last Name
• Your Age
• Your City
• Your State
• Home Phone
• Email
• Title of Work Uploaded
• You can also include a description about the artwork uploaded.

 

Incomplete entries are void. All entries become the property of KidzClix, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned. KidzClix, Inc. assumes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

KidzClix, Inc. has the right to terminate a contest at any time and select a winner and finalists from the eligible entries received as of the termination date.

To participate in a contest, each entrant must read these Official Rules and the Submission Guidelines for the contest, and follow the submission instructions. Each submission must meet the requirements in the applicable Submission Guidelines and the Official Rules. Any submission that, in KidzClix, Inc.'s sole judgment, violates the submission criteria will be disqualified. Any contest is void where prohibited or restricted.

Judging

Entries will be judged by KidzClix, Inc. staff based on originality, creativity, and appropriateness of and relevance to the type of contest their decisions shall be binding in all respects. The judges include educators of children, child psychologists, artists and designers. The Winner and finalists, if any, for each contest will be selected on or about the 20th day of the second month of the contest and will be notified within 5 days thereafter. The winning submission and finalists� submissions will be posted on the KidzClix.net website.

KidzClix, Inc. may display other submissions as honorable mention or featured submissions in the KidzGallery section of the KidzClix.net website. The entrants of these honorable mention or featured submissions will not receive a prize or notification of selection.

Prize

The winner of each contest will receive a unique t-shirt with a design by KidzClix, Inc. (approximate retail value $25.00 USD) and will have the winning entry showcased on the KidzClix.net website in the KidzGallery section. No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed, except KidzClix, Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value if the prize is not available. The winner�s parent or legal guardian will be notified via email and/or phone. KidzClix, Inc. will send the prize directly to the winner in care of the parent or legal guardian.

KidzClix has no liability for any winner notification or prize that is lost, intercepted or not received for any reason. By accepting a prize, the winner and his or her parent(s) or legal guardian agree that KidzClix, Inc. may, without any limitation or further compensation, use his or her first name, KidzClix member name, age, state of residence, and submission in any and all media for the purpose of advertising and promoting the KidzClix website, the contest, or any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes sponsored by the KidzClix, Inc., unless prohibited by law.

The finalists for each contest, if any, will not receive a prize, but will have their submission showcased in the KidzGallery section of the KidzClix.net website.

We are committed to providing children a safer online experience and have many unique features within our KidzConnect site to help protect our members. Unlike free networking sites for children, ours is part of our subscription-based online magazine KidzClix.net, which requires credit card verification of a parent or guardian. This means that everyone on our networking site has verifiable personal data which provides tracking information, thus making it a more undesirable destination for possible internet predators. We do not disclose the personal identifying information of our members or their parents or guardians. In addition, KidzConnect members can only communicate with other members.

For their own protection, members must abide by specific rules, and are not allowed to give out or ask for personal information such as a name, address, phone number or internet addresses. In addition, they are expected to follow a list of �internet etiquette� rules to ensure that they communicate respectfully and do not use inappropriate, offensive or threatening language. Disruptive behavior is not allowed and members who break the rules will receive warnings from our professional monitors. Repeated warnings may lead to disciplinary measures that include parent notification and possible termination of membership to KidzConnect.

KidzConnect is also a great way for kids to learn about how the Internet works and discover more about the future trends of the Web. Moreover, KidzClix creates a safe and fun area for kids to learn about it.

Also, at KidzClix members can become part of the magazine by sending in pictures and stories of their creations, sharing ideas and projects for future issues, and participate in contests exclusively with other subscribers!
