Site Rules and Guidelines

1. Be Nice and Considerate to All Members.

Please be extra nice to all members you meet in KidzConnect. Some members may be new to KidzClix and new to the different ways to communicate with other members, such as instant messaging, emails, and forums. So try to be helpful and understanding.

2. Do Not Involve Yourself in Any Bad or Inappropriate Behavior.

Kidzclix does not allow or tolerate any kind of bad or inappropriate behavior. Such behavior may result in the member involved being banned for an indefinite amount of time. Inappropriate behavior can be reported from a member's personal profile page. A message will be sent to our moderators, who will investigate the matter.

3. Do Not Upload Any Images That Are Offensive.

Uploading offensive or inappropriate images can result in having your membership cancelled. The only place where members can upload photos in KidzConnect is on their profile page. Our moderators are continuously reviewing photos that are uploaded to KidzConnect, and are checking for anything that is offensive, vulgar, violent, related to sex, related to alcohol and drugs, related to smoking, or rude.

4. Do Not Write or Post Anything That Is Offensive.

Writing and posting anything that is offensive or inappropriate can result in having your membership cancelled. Our moderators can track everything written and posted by members, so if they find anything that is not appropriate, they will email the member's parents and may suspend that account for a period of time.

5. Report Anything You May Think Is Wrong, Bad, Inappropriate, Offensive, or Against the Rules.

Kidzclix moderators are constantly checking for any violations of our rules, but you can help keep our community pleasant and fun. Report anything you think may be wrong or a violation of our rules. Our moderators will investigate the matter quickly and handle it appropriately. Do not try to handle the situation by yourself. It may make matters worse. Just notify your parents and email KidzClix at [email protected].

1. Only Members Are Allowed to Upload Photos

KIds should ask their parents for help with uploading photos to the gallery. You must be logged in to upload a photo

2. Submission Guide

All artwork must be a member's original creation. Selection of artwork for display will be decided by KidzClix. Also, keep in mind that your artwork submitted will not be returned. Though you will not receive any money for your artwork submitted, you will be able to share it with the world. The KidzContest submissions are judged by a panel of experts for each particular contest, and grand prize winners will receive a special prize.

3. What You Cannot Submit/Upload

1. Anything vulgar or disgusting.
2. Any images showing violence.
3. Anything containing nudity or images related to sex.
4. All forms of profanity and obscenity.
5. Anything related to alcohol or drugs.
6. Anything related to smoking tobacco products.
7. Blood and gore involving humans and animals.
8. Derogatory, offensive, and mean images .

All photos will be approved by KidzClix before they will be posted in our KidzGallery.

Introduction

Kidz Contests is an activity in KidzArena that only members can enter. Contests are held every two to three months. One winner, as well as ten finalists are selected by KidzClix.net. Each contest will be different from previous contests. The winnerï¿½s and finalistsï¿½ submission/entry for each contest will be showcased in our section on the website called KidzGallery. We will display their submission/entry, their member name (not their real name), age, city, and other info if appropriate (eg. title of a story or artwork).

Eligibility

Each contest is open only to legal residents of the USA (including the District of Columbia and excluding Arizona, Vermont, Colorado, and North Dakota) and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) who are ages 5 through 15 and members of KidzClix.net at the time of the entry. Children whose parents work for KidzClix, Inc. are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

Contest entries must be received by KidzClix, Inc. before 12:01am, Central Standard Time, on or before the last day of the second month of the contest. Late entries will not be considered. Entries must be submitted through the KidzClix.net website either in (a) the KidzGallery section or (b) the Kidz Contest activity in the KidzArena section.

Incomplete entries are void. All entries become the property of KidzClix, Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned. KidzClix, Inc. assumes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

KidzClix, Inc. has the right to terminate a contest at any time and select a winner and finalists from the eligible entries received as of the termination date.

To participate in a contest, each entrant must read these Official Rules and the Submission Guidelines for the contest, and follow the submission instructions. Each submission must meet the requirements in the applicable Submission Guidelines and the Official Rules. Any submission that, in KidzClix, Inc.'s sole judgment, violates the submission criteria will be disqualified. Any contest is void where prohibited or restricted.

Judging

Entries will be judged by KidzClix, Inc. staff based on originality, creativity, and appropriateness of and relevance to the type of contest. Their decisions shall be binding in all respects. The judges include educators of children, child psychologists, artists and designers. The Winner and finalists, if any, for each contest will be selected on or about the 20th day of the second month of the contest and will be notified within 5 days thereafter. The winning submission and finalistsï¿½ submissions will be posted on the KidzClix.net website.

KidzClix, Inc. may display other submissions as honorable mention or featured submissions in the KidzGallery section of the KidzClix.net website. The entrants of these honorable mention or featured submissions will not receive a prize or notification of selection.

Prize

The winner of each contest will receive a unique t-shirt with a design by KidzClix, Inc. (approximate retail value $25.00 USD) and will have the winning entry showcased on the KidzClix.net website in the KidzGallery section. No cash alternative or prize substitutions will be allowed, except KidzClix, Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value if the prize is not available. The winnerï¿½s parent or legal guardian will be notified via email and/or phone. KidzClix, Inc. will send the prize directly to the winner in care of the parent or legal guardian.

KidzClix has no liability for any winner notification or prize that is lost, intercepted or not received for any reason. By accepting a prize, the winner and his or her parent(s) or legal guardian agree that KidzClix, Inc. may, without any limitation or further compensation, use his or her first name, KidzClix member name, age, state of residence, and submission in any and all media for the purpose of advertising and promoting the KidzClix website, the contest, or any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes sponsored by the KidzClix, Inc., unless prohibited by law.

The finalists for each contest, if any, will not receive a prize, but will have their submission showcased in the KidzGallery section of the KidzClix.net website.
